The Lebanese curriculum is based on the requirements and core curriculum set by the Lebanese Ministry of Education. Yet, the school academic board has added tools to better measure students’ academic progress such as MAP for cycles I and II and IAB for Cycle III. This step aims to align with the international educational standards along with that of the Lebanese.
The School also offers students who find it difficult to mainstream the core requirements and offers a sub-curriculum to ensure that these students with special needs are able to cope with the main curriculum prerequisites.
NEIGB’s teaching philosophy revolves around the principle of active learning. This empowers our students to experience countless skills and to invest their knowledge in life issues. Our teachers utilize teaching material and subjects vertically and horizontally, using different means to engage learners verbally, individually, via research projects and through group work.
